INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI earned the doubles point but could only pull out one singles win as the Jags fell to Northern Kentucky, 5-2, on Sunday (April 4).
 
Sean Bailey and Ethan Mardanus-Budiono cruised to a 6-2 win in the No. 2 doubles match and Emil Jankowski and Alex Jochim earned a 6-4 win at No. 1 to earn IUPUI the doubles point.
 
When singles play started, Northern Kentucky took the first five matches that finished to win the match. Blessing Benibo earned a three-set win after dropping the first set 2-6. Benibo came back to win the second set 6-3 and the third 7-6(7-4).
 
UP NEXT
IUPUI will be back in action next week with its final non-conference match of the season. The Jags will travel to Saint Louis on Sunday, April 11, to take on the Billikens.
